I suspect Billic and the board are anticipating a ridiculous price tag on Jenko and well see a lot more of Tomkins at right back for the rest of the season.
I'd like us to get Jenkinson but we shouldn't be paying silly money. £7m maximum, but start the bidding at £5m.

2-3 mill. Not worth too much more on this season's evidence.
However, thanks to the new contract he signed, he'll cost at least 3-4 times that amount. Absolutely not worth it.

He's not that bad. West Ham fans are like professional haters sometimes. It's ridiculous. He's scored twice for us I think this season as well. But let's forget that because if interferes with the job of "hating". Ffs.
Tomkins is better defensively but jenkinson is better going forward and better on the ball in general. So it depends what type of game your playing and who the opposition is.
He's getting a lot of games with us and good experience so I think Wenger will take him back especially as Debuchey will probably leave.
Now Wenger will have a young British experienced right back in a top 6 prem side that beat all the top sides. I can only think of Clyne and walker that are ahead of him as English right sided full backs.
We'd do good to keep him.

We need a set of full backs.Davide Santon is a quality footballer but not a solid defender.
Djibril Sidibe has a lot of the qualities that we require.

He is not a RB he is a wingback.they are totally different disciplines.

Looked a lot better with Tomkins at RB who had an excellent game. Jenkinson has been very poor all season, not just one or two games. No justification for signing him at the moment especially for the sort of money Arsenal would want.

There is a reason he was not in the Arsenal first team- he isn't very good. Slow, indecisive, doesn't read the game well - not worth a permanent deal.

I'd be a bit patient with him. He showed a lot of potential last season. Our fullbacks were frighteningly good for a while. Right now we're fine with Tomkins at right back but if Jankinson can fight his way back into the first-team then it might be worth making a bid.
